Call to Worship (Based on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 and James 4:7-8)

L: We gather today in worship.

P: We’re here! Rejoicing in all circumstances.

L: We gather today to pray without ceasing.

P: To prayer with words, with tears, with laughter, and with our very breath.

L: We gather today to hold fast to what is good.

P: God is good. Let us draw near to God.

L: May God sanctify us and give us peace.

All: Let us worship God! Amen!
